Haven't had the chance to get my claws on one of these computers in a while, old Josh was on the lam, for a bout a month's time now. Back in NYC some stool pigeon ratted to the landlord about me and Barnaby's jig with the washing machines. It was around the midnight hour and I'd just fiddled my way into the first coin box when Barnaby says he sees the cherry tops pulling up outside. Before we could make off with the loot this flatfoot's running down the staircase shining his torch in my eyes, haven't stopped seein' spots since. The boy takes us up to his car and asks our names, tells us he know's we been jacking the coin's for some time, and that we done took enough coins to be considered burglers. So when the copper went back to his car to check on our names, Barnaby and I made it fast up the street and down an alley. We could still hear him hollerin' our names when we were five blocks off. Long story short, we hopped the turnstyle on a subway to Long Island. A month later and here I am, back in Massychusetts. There's more to be said, but it'll have to wait til the next time I need to use the library toilet, my stomach's growling and the dumpster out back won't sift through itself.
